Only one pair came with the metal buckle and not two. Also three shoe strings came in the Box.
Would prefer black barrell lock so it's not so "falshy". Having said that, The material is good quality. Comes with very easy to understand, diagramed instructions for measuring and installation. They even send a 3rd shoelace in case you screw one up. If you are going to use BLACK universal laces, I would buy 2 packs which will acutally do 3 pairs of shoes for the price of 2.
I do use but for price they are ok. They keep stretching so you have to keep cutting. Pretty color and reasonable price

A dream come true for special needs kids or adults that don't tie their shoes. A God send!
Nice laces, but very difficult to thread on my new sneakers. The way to tie the silver pin at the end was difficult because you had to burn the end of the cut laces, and then make a tiny ball that would get inside the metal piece, which took most of the room inside the metal pin, making it difficult to get both ends of the silver pins to screw together. I wouldn't buy again, but perhaps with other types of sneakers, it would work better.

Love these! I have purchased a few sets in different colors. He loves being able to just slip his shoe on and not have to worry about it coming untied during the day. They look good, are durable and work well!

I just exchange the laces from my new ICs and these worked pretty good. Installation was a little complicated. Needing to burn the edges to seal the end was a bit suspect, but it ultimately worked fine. I walked many miles through New Zealand and Australia with not problems. Five Stars
These are just elasticized strings with a metallic end-connector at the top. But they work well and convert string tied shoes into ones that can slip on. Great for my kids. I think I like these as well as the silicone-band style that we've used before. Since these are as long as shoe strings they allow for a look closer to what the shoe was designed for.
My daughter has uniquely shaped feet that makes it very hard for her to fit into most slip on shoes so she has to use lace ups. She still isn’t the age where she can tie her shoes on her own so these are perfect for her. They allow stretch so she can slip her lace up shoes on and off easily.Simply lease up the shoe. Put the shoe on. Thread the bead attachments. Tie a knot at the desired length. Cut off access. Lighter the end to melt and seal so it doesn’t come loose. Then then twist the beads together. Highly recommend.
We purchased these for our elementary-age child, who was in a full arm cast. She couldn’t tie her shoes on her own, which was an issue at school. She loves these shoe laces! Directions were clear, simple, & easy to follow. It took about ten minutes to “install” them on both pairs of shoes. Highly recommend!
I bought these for me and my 13 year old son to make our sneakers slip-ons--not having to constantly fiddle with the laces--and they've worked great. At first, I was going to join the ends together with the screws as shown but we decided that we like them tied better and they look like regular laces and they don't come untied. We've had them for a few months and now I'm buying more. I looked at other laces but decided on these because they look like a regular lace.
So I've tried different versions from multiple stores because my laces kept getting untied. Got these and they were so easy to put together. The key is at the end when you attach the two ends together. Very simple and easy to understand the process and works like a charm. Be sure to follow their suggestion of doing this while wearing the shoe with a sock on so it's not too tight or loose. I plan on getting more for the rest of my shoes.
The laces stay in place very well, but the only problem was re-threading them after cutting. It's also a bit difficult to fit the knotted ends (toward the end of the process) in the metal casing, so try to avoid making a knot on top of another knot, going as thin of a knot as possible.
The only annoying part of this product is the initial set up, you need to cut then tie the ends. One set up though it is great! You can get your shoes on and off without having to tie and un tie.
