I had to scroll through tons of ugly pet blankets to finally find this one. This is so nice it should be at the top of the list! I have chosen to live in a Honda Element for the past year and a half with a 70lbs dog that LOVES the outdoors. I live in the PNW and primarily stay on my sisters 7 acre property. I work 12 hour shifts so my dog stays on the property with the Element and she has access to it at all times as well as space to roam outside. You can always expect rain here in WA, even on a beautiful day. I pride myself on cleanliness and hate feeling sand and dirt between my sheets. I have tried other blankets to use as a barrier and they all failed. I found this protective blanket and can’t say enough wonderful things about it. It gets high traffic from the dog, rained on and washed weekly. It has held up perfectly and it’s cozy! I have a twin XL bed and bought the smaller size but it just barely covers the sides. Today I saw the bigger size was on sale and I had to order another in orange. While I was at work the other day it rained super hard and no one was home to close up the car. If I didn’t have this on the bed my mattress and bedding would’ve been soaked when I got home but instead was completely dry. If you want some cute colors and sturdy long lasting pet blanket, then this is for you!
This blanket literally saved our mattress the first day we had it on there. My cat has decided to start peeing on our bed and we can't figure out why. While we're trying to figure it out, we needed something to keep our bed dry and this thing delivers. I was able to just dab the urine with paper towels, soak it with some enzyme spray, and throw it in the wash. No more washing every single covering on the bed where it had soaked through. It is so soft too! We are in the process of ordering more to have while one is in the wash and to put on our guest room bed just in case. I wouldn't hesitate ordering this blanket if you are worried about spills on bed or other furniture.
So far so good, I put it under my 100% cotton comforter (use my comforter as my sheet so I don't have to sleep directly on top of the polyester dog blanket - size is perfect hangs over my bed so NO SLIP !! Soft
It works!! The size, durability, thickness, and it's waterproof, definitely a win! Easy to fold and wash. Takes a little longer to dry, but that's to be expected with something thats suppose to lock in liquids! Exactly what I was looking for. Your bed will thank you 😊
I just bought a 2nd one to keep at my partner’s house!I’ve had mine for well over a year now and it’s held up wonderfully. We absorb any excess moisture with a towel when we’re done. I do feel like the material absorbs smells, as well as liquids, but frequent washing takes care of that!

These work great at protecting your fancy carpets and couches From animal dirt. I have 4 in my house and will Probably get another one. Easy to shake out. Throw In the wash and throw back in your couch or carpet
It's bratty cat proof! Within one night there were a few puddles on the blanket, which were whipped up completely with a paper towel! Plus soft as a regular blanket.
They really know and care about good packaging. They put a extra piece of cardboard so you do not cut into the product. It's waterproof and we have a new young Mini Bull Terrier who is not an expert with the door jingle bells. I suggest if you're training a new pup or older one you use the jingle. This product is so thick and easily washable, it's not big bucks.

Well, we did a test as soon as we received the blanket and placed it on our sofa. Using water for testing, all it did was bead on top of the blanket. Didn't soak through at all. Then, of course, our elderly pup had to test it for himself. Sure enough, it beaded on top and didn't soak through at all. Thus, protecting our sofa. Easy clean-up of the pee pond he left behind. Definitely recommend this item.

I loved these so much I bought 4 of them. However, you must wash them on cold and air dry them. If you do not, they will lose their waterproof quality. They are the best out there, but if you don't treat them right, they won't work.I started drying them on medium to save time. I had two on the same bed -- one above the sheets and under the sheets. My cat peed on top of the bed, and even the blanket under the sheets was wet.This was my mistake - I dried them on Medium.The manufacturer says to only dry the blankets on Low. However, they are so heavy and waterlogged after washing that it takes several cycles on low to dry them, or one to two days on an indoor clothesline.I discussed with the manufacturer and realized my mistake. They sent me another blanket. Now I will ONLY dry them on low and then hang them on the line for a day to keep drying. The new blanket is waterproof, my cat peed on it tonight and it did not soak through.
I got this blanket for my bed. I have an older cat with bladder issues that sometimes sleeps with me. I was sick of washing everything on my bed whenever he sleeps with me. (He knows how to open doors, and if I block the door from opening, he bangs on it until no body sleeps.) The water really does bead up on it and liquid doesn't seep through. BUT, cat urine doesn't bead up, it spreads through the top layer and stays there. It doesn't seep through (good) but there is no stain to see where the accident happened (bad). You can try the sniff test to try and locate the spot. You have to spray the cat urine enzymes destroyer where you estimate the accident occured. If you're wrong about the spot, the room smells like cat urine. So, you wash it everytime this occurs. No big deal. I was washing everyday anyway. Now because of the nature of the material, when it comes out of the wash it's heavy with water. It takes a long time to dry.So, I am using it for another purpose. If you are going to use this like I was, for pee prevention accidents, it didn't work for me. If you're using it to protect your furniture from kid or animal spills and dirt, it's great.
This blanket is literally amazing. I have a cat that I adopted from a shelter who sometimes has some improper urination on my couch or bed.Previous “waterproof” blankets I bought weren’t actually and they always leaked urine onto the actual bed or couch. NOT THIS ONE. First, I conducted a test on this blanket when I got it - could it hold 1/2 cup of water for at least 2 hours without leaking (it could!!) literally nothing got through to the other side.But today it finally passed it’s first real world test! My car unfortunately has an accident and it worked like magic! Held the urine and so I was able to paper towel up the urine. I could then spray on enzymatic cleaner which it held without leaking through! Literally the fastest cleanup after an improper urination incident I have ever had!On top of that, it’s a pretty nice blanket. Very warm and soft unlike other waterproof blankets which don’t feel great or don’t look like blankets. It also fits completely over my loveseat sized couch, I can drape it over so it covers the seat, back, and arms. This is great cause my cat tends to pee in the corners so if something didn’t fully drape over the couch pee would get onto it.GET THIS NOW IF YOU HAVE AN ACCIDENT PRONE PET! I have 2 and it is truly life changing.
We bought this to cover a bed during the day so the cat can wander. She’s elderly (17 years) and tends to shed, occasionally cough up hairballs or leave lunch on the bed. We cover this blanket with an inexpensive cotton sheet that wraps the bed entirely because it’s easier to clean a small mess from a cotton sheet than this heavy bed cover. If the mess leaks through, well, it only leaks as far as the bed cover and not down into the bed clothes we sleep in. The surface is fleece on both sides, so the cat isn’t enticed to scratch. Durable. We’ve washed it once when we first bought it. No big accidents yet. A couple small accidents, but easily managed since only the cotton sheet was affected.When it’s time for us to go to bed, kitty goes to her bedroom (the laundry room) and we remove the cover so we can sleep. The product has so far delivered. Recommend.
