As a disabled senior woman living alone and survivor of several potentially life threatening choking incidents I immediately started researching for the best unit when I realized there were anti choking devices available.I feel this is the best product for someone who is alone and choking.This unit itself is very sturdy and appears well made. It looks like something you would see at a hospital. It comes with three different size masks which are auto inflated to fit firmly.I tested the unit on myself several times, and though I hope I never have another choking episode, I feel better having this here in case I do.It has good, consistent, reliable suction power that should work fine to dislodge the blockage. I believe the single push button of this product is superior to the competition’s design, and I insisted on the one way draw as I don’t want to potentially push the blockage down into my lungs by accident.Hanging tips:PHOTO #1Hang the device somewhere that is easily accessible, and at the ideal reach height for the user. Seconds literally count when you are alone and choking.PHOTO #2I want to be able to reach it and put the mask over my face as quickly as possible, which is why I have it on the hanger upside down, with a rubber band securing it in. (Hoping the manufacturer will adjust the hanger for future models, as this is much more effective setup).PHOTO #3I have the unit lined up with my correct size mask directly facing me so I can grab it,and immediately put it on.First thing to remember when alone and choking is don’t panic. Everyone should have one or two. Comes with one adult size mask and two children’s sizes. It really helps with peace of mind!

This is heavy duty and worth the money to have around for an emergency. Just as important as having a smoke alarm, or fire extinguisher at home. Always good to be prepared for any emergency.

I have only tested the product, it is easy to use and provides so much peace of mind. Great for anyone with swallowing difficulties or the elderly. I bought one for myself and a second one for my parents. The push button design makes it easy for young adults and seniors. Prefect for limited or reduced hand strength & self use. Worth every penny!

Purchased after my husband choked. Nice to know we are protected, however I was unable to re-trigger due to my strength issues. If you have strength in your hands it is perfect. I found it necessary to purchase a different type.
Well, all I can say is I sleep better at night knowing that this device is in the house and everybody in the house know where it is in case of an emergency would occur 👍🏻
I purchased a manual one & it is a bit hard to use, I can’t imagine needing it & being alone. This one is SO easy to use, easy to reset, easy to understand. Because you can inflate the mouthpiece (unlike my other one) it fits better & assures you a tight fit which you need. This is worth the cost for the ease of use vs others. I wish I had gotten this one instead of the other one I got first. I ended up putting the first one downstairs & this one upstairs closer to my child. I taught them how to use it just in case they are home alone or if I can’t hear them.
I was home alone a few weeks back and almost choked. Attempting to do the heimlich on yourself using the back of a kitchen chair is extremely painful not to mention terrifying. I truly wish I had had one of these devices before that it happened. But I definitely have this one now and I liked how it worked so well in the video and in the testing once I received it that I purchased a second one for my husband as well as he drives truck. It seems to be of high quality materials. The test of the item that they showed you how to do in the video at home shows it works as it should. It has about as much suction as what you would expect from a sharp deep breath. I think this is an item that will be long-lasting item. I love the fact that it is reusable. I like the fact that it came with three separate nose pieces for different sized faces and I hope and pray that it's something I never have to use. But I'm very happy that I have it in my home now. It comes with the bracket to hang it up and it fit perfectly in my kitchen pantry so that it's easily accessible to anybody at any time in my home. I have also suggested it to everyone I know. People have fire extinguishers in their homes as part of their everyday safety kits I truly believe this should be another thing that's in everybody's home and car.
