When i got it i charged it because i got it for a tripI thought the right water bottle came with it for mist but i didn’t get one so i had to fund out what bottle worked :( smart water bottle works) i got the smallest bottle for it and i struggled to get it to screw in :( i mean it would not catch then it would a bit but i had to hold the bottle on it to keep it attached :/ i looked in the place you screw the bottle into and the threads were stripped. I did not do it. It was that way when I got it and I did not realize it. I did not realize it until the fourth when I was off on my vacation and I’m now back it’s the 8th and it can’t be returned so this is my product review. Don’t waste your money or buy something more expensive with metal threads instead of plastic threads maybe buy something that actually comes with the right bottle for it. Don’t waste your money.

WORKS WELL.
I got this for my sister because my nephew does ALL THE ACTIVITIES. She's out in the beating sun all the time for Scouts, soccer, baseball, karate, and of course all the time that he plays outside. She's so excited to have this! It provides shade, wind, and mist! She says it's a must-have for a sunny day at the zoo and I think that sounds like an AMAZING idea! I'm buying one for myself, too! My children are younger and we don't do as many activities yet, but we do go to the playground and the zoo a LOT and I hate getting overheated! I also have very fair skin and I burn if I think about the sun too hard. I burn THROUGH sunscreen. This is going to make it much easier for me to spend time outside with my sweet little adventurers!Almost forgot to mention, she said the fan moves a surprising amount of air!
The umbrella and the fan work great and kept me cool and out of the sun at Disney - that part is 5 stars. But unfortunately the mist doesn’t work, and the bottle came without a cap. I got two, and the other had a cap, so that was strange.

Came without a means of charging. Seller refunded enough for the missing charging cable. Otherwise, a nice addition for a hot day.
