Here are some of the things I’ve learned while owning it and things to consider before buying, including flaws.I. Quality – I was a little disappointed with the quality of this product considering the level of cost currently. It looks and feels like it’s made of cheap quality materials that may not last real long.II. Performance – It’s worked great by providing an easy way to print directly on boxes and other things, without the need for stickers. It takes a little time to figure it out, but is easy to use once mastered. The ink is simple to put in and change, but is currently hard to find and expensive. It provides many different options of what you can print like barcodes, production dates, ext. to extend its usefulness. It’s easy to charge, with a battery that last a long time, but they don’t include a wall cube, but just a cheap, short USB-C.Overall, this is an easy to use and convenient way to print directly on objects with good performance, but low quality, poor value and expensive ink. If you really need to print directly on things it might still be a good choice. However, I’ll be looking for a higher quality version with cheaper ink that’s more accessible. This handheld label printer is quite well-made. I especially like the large LCD touch screen and ergonomic rubber handle that makes it easy to operate this device. It comes with an ink cartridge, battery, power supply and a metal plate. When it comes to using the product, it took some practice, but I quickly got the hang of directly printing my contact information on items I wanted to keep track of. While there are cheaper label printers available, the stickers they produce may not be as durable and water-resistant. With the included metal plate, the printer can print on uneven surfaces. I've successfully printed on cloth, metal, wood, paper, and plastic. I have discovered several useful applications for this printer. For example, I use it to create date labels for my vacuum-sealed bags, simply indicating the month and year before storing them in the freezer. Additionally, I have lots of hobbies besides my professional work, and this printer is quite useful in many of them. As an air gunsmith, I find it helpful for adding my logo or "Made By / Date" information to my projects. As a photographer, I also use it to label my lens filters by swiping the printer across the filter case.While there is a bit of a learning curve, and it can be challenging to perfect the technique, my main concern is the cost of ink cartridges, which can range from $75 to $150. The cartridges seem to only last 3-4 months and the cost is quite steep. I may consider looking into DIY refilling options or cheaper alternatives when the time comes. On the positive side, there are various ink colors available, including UV, which can be useful for specific needs if the budget allows. Overall, once you become familiar with it, this printer offers a range of creative options in the palm of your hand.I'm still in the process of learning about this printer, but here are a few helpful pro-tips. Save the packaging! The printer doesn't come with a case, but the box and packaging can be used to store and transport it. Also, make sure to keep the plastic clip that goes over the ink cartridge. Use the stylus. The touchscreen on the printer is difficult to use with a finger. If you make a mistake while printing, you can use isopropyl alcohol on a paper towel or rag to easily wipe it off. Adjust the settings to turn off the beeping sound when printing.Bottom line:This KOONE handheld label printer is well-made, with a large LCD touch screen, and ergonomic rubber handle. It can print directly on various surfaces like cloth, metal, wood, paper, and plastic. While it has a learning curve, it offers many useful applications like labeling vacuum-sealed bags, adding logos/markings on projects, and printing on lens filters. Convenient ... that is the perfect word for this handheld printer. I am using it to label/mark boxes in my warehouse with date received and other pertinent information. It is so nice to have something I can move around easily with me throughout the day to perform these functions.It takes a little bit of time to set up and get used to. I find the size of the screen is good for me personally. It is bright and you can easily move through the menus on the screen. Could the screen be a little bigger, well yes, but then it wouldn't make it so easy to pick up and use.I am using mainly on cardboard boxes and the print quality is excellent and easily readible. I haven't found that it bleeds or fades and it dries extremely fast which is a huge plus.The only real drawback that I can find of the printer is the cost of replacement cartridges. They can be a little pricey. For the convenience for me its worth it but you may want to look at that ahead of time.All in all a great product that I would highly recommend. 5 STARS

I can print just about anything onto anything with this fantastic little printer. Of course we use it for organizing at the shop, but my wife will also print on foodstuff packaging the dates of purchase and sometimes place of purchase. It is already helping us eat the oldest stuff first when we shop in bulk. Printing is clear and without smudges, even if I'm not holding the unit as steady as I should - it does well still. Dries very fast. Prints on about anything including metal and hard, shiny plastics. And I think it's pretty easy to set up and enter information to print. I can pre-program it with many options and scroll through them quickly, which works the best.

I got this for my business, we repackage and sell bulk and can’t always control what the packaging is, some are boxes, some are plastic, some are bags, some are just static wrap. We had been using labels, multiple sizes, to try and affix something as best as possible to less than reliable results. I got this printer as a suggestion and it is amazing! It prints quickly and on every surface we use at the warehouse. We now have standardized coding and sequences for our various products and can easily print the details in multiple locations consistently. The print is fairly reliable and we have not had a failure using it daily. The ink is rather expensive but considering the cost of labels I was going through this is a much more reliable and professional solution and worth it. If you have a need for this type of printing, I would definitely recommend.

In no uncertain terms, I love these handheld printers. They're so handy and flexible, and you can do so much with them. It's really easy to use once you get accustomed to the interface. In fact, with a little practice, I find it to be fairly efficient and uncluttered. Some might complain that it's a bit dated, but I shudder to think of a worse-case scenario if they re-envisioned it. The interface is best described as...Android with a splash of Windows 95. And there are actually a bevy of customization options, from fonts to being able to lighten or darken the printing.I will say this, if you don't use it constantly, you'll have to clean the printhead when you go to use it. The best thing I've found is a paper towel with 91% rubbing alcohol, clean it, test print, if any lines are still there, clean it again until you get a clean print. The more you use it, the less it clogs.The only reason I gave it 4 stars, is it's time to ditch the proprietary charger that plugs into the battery. It's time to go USB-C charging so I can charge it with any charger anywhere. And I should be able to USB-C charge in the printer or out, it shouldn't matter.Aside from my charger gripe, I HIGHLY recommend this, as it's SO handy you won't know what you did without it.

I have two of these, they're great. Both are branded differently, however their operating software and design is identical.Extremely useful for organization and general printing onto cardboard. Only complaint is that the ink cartridges aren't really standardized, and they're quite expensive relative to the cost of the actual device.

IF you've ever wanted to print directly onto items, like cups, belongings, walls, etc, this is a useful device.It does have some quirks. The interface is a little difficult to use, you'll definitely want to use the stylus and not your finger. The ink is very expensive. Non-flat items take practice to get right. Sticker-label printers are far less expensive.However, if you understand the quirks, and have a use for a device like this, it's fantastic!
