It was very easy to set up the canopy roof for the chair. It's basically built into the chair. I'm impressed, so far I like it. The seat is definitely big enough, sturdy, holds my weight with kids sitting on my lap. The seat is pretty firm. There is a large cup holder, which is nice, since many camping chairs only hold the small water bottles.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Got this for my Mum since we've been going out to events at parks and beaches. Works well, and provides decent shade. Might buy this as a spare chair for future events.

We love this perfect beach chair! Comfortable and strong with a superior shade to block out the sun from your face and eyes. You’ll still need to use sunscreen but sitting in the sun is so much more comfortable and safe. We’ve bought two and these are a favorite and good value for the money.
Strongly built but seating area is not real comfortable. Cell phone slot seems to be upside down…?
Good quality chair...however too heavy to carry it over your shoulder for a 64 year old female!! Now I need a buggy to carry it....
